One building on the museum grounds within which half is built as a traditional "Company House" and the other half is a "Company Store". In the late 1800's thru early 1900's coal companies expanding in remote areas would build Company towns to house their miner workforce. Company stores usually held a monopoly within the town and miners would spend company script exclusively in these stores to buy their goods to live.
Paved walking path that extends across the Museum property and goes by various buildings and equipment. It was built in 2014 thanks to a grant from Toyota as well as Metzger Construction and is 600' long.
A 2 mile paved walking and biking path along State Road 68 which runs from Tecumseh Junior Senior High School to Lynnville Park, the Museum of the Coal Industry, and the Town of Lynnville. The project was organized by Warrick Trails, and construction began in 2020 and completed late 2021.
Constructing the Maintenance Building at the Coal Museum. The building will house many of the coal and wood fired stoves for the Museum as well as other equipment.
